>THE ELITE TEAMS
1.
Chicago Black Sox (79-30) (Previous Week – 1) No movement from last week. Team went 15-5 during the week. (There’s only one thing the Black Sox’s don’t do well is win the close games. 1-run losses count for over half there total losses on the season. Congrats on the Blaze award as well.)
1st Hitting / 3rd Pitching / 1st Fielding
2.
Pawtucket Marathon Men (77-32) (Previous Week – 2) No movement from last week. Team went 15-5 during the week. (I can see the Marathon Men having the second best record in the league and will have to be a wildcard team. One hell of a scary wildcard team. Also congrats on winning the first every Blaze award. It will be award to the team with the best record during the week.)
2nd Hitting / 6th Pitching / 3rd Fielding
3. Omaha Indians (74-35) (Previous Week – 3) No movement from last week. Team went 11-9 during the week. (74 wins already on the season is great but your not as good as you think you are Omaha. Maybe if you played in a big boy division you could move up?)
11th Hitting / 4th Pitching / 10th Fielding
4. Toronto Tiger Tanks (68-41) (Previous Week – 4) No movement from last week. Team went 13-7 during the week. (Toronto better get used to staring at the Goat behind them. The division race will be a hard fought battle for the Tiger Tanks but they should pull it out a victory.)
5th Hitting / 12th Pitching / 13th Fielding
5. Fresno Grizzlies (69-40) (Previous Week – 5) No movement from last week. Team went 12-8 during the week. (Defense sure doesn’t matter much to Fresno this season. Would be in the number 4 spot if you had a better defense by the way.)
6th Hitting / 8th Pitching / 31st Fielding
THE MAGNIFICENT TEAMS
6. Montgomery Biscuits (66-43) (Previous Week – 7) Up 1 spot from last week. Team went 12-8 during the week. (Good news for Montgomery this week. The league tested the biscuits the team where eating before the games and decided that it was missing some Jelly.)
3rd Hitting / 15th Pitching / 12th Fielding
7. Chicago Choking Goats (65-44) (Previous Week – 8) Up 1 spot from last week. Team went 13-7 during the week. (Moved up 1 spot for a good week and playing the toughest division. I believe the Goats will make the playoffs no matter what this season.)
19th Hitting / 2nd Pitching / 7th Fielding
8. Richmond Red Birds (66-43) (Previous Week – 6) Down 2 spots from last week. Team went 10-10 during the week. (The Red Birds need to be careful this week or the Mud Sharks eat them right out of first place.)
8th Hitting / 11th Pitching / 8th Fielding
9. New York Mud Sharks (63-44) (Previous Week – 9) No movement from last week. Team went 13-7 during the week. (If they where in first place, the team would have moved up but your still one game behind the team above you.)
10th Hitting / 13th Pitching / 4th Fielding
10. Norfolk N’Way (61-48) (Previous Week – 10) No movement from last week. Team went 11-9 during the week. (The best pitching staff in the league is why they stayed in the top 10. Have another average week and I will be forced to move you down though.)
21st Hitting / 1st Pitching / 5th Fielding
11. Nashville Redneks (64-45) (Previous Week – 11) No movement from last week. Team went 14-6 during the week. (The rednecks have the luckiest team in the league because there playing way above what they should be.)
18th Hitting / 10th Pitching / 15th Fielding
THE ABOVE AVERAGE TEAMS
12. Scranton StormTroopers (60-49) (Previous Week – 14) Up 2 spots from last week. Team went 13-7 during the week. (Being only 1 game behind the division leader is what aloud Scranton to jump the Bombers. Plus they have better team stats as well.)
12th Hitting / 7th Pitching / 14th Fielding
13. Boise Bombers (60-49) (Previous Week – 13) No movement from last week. Team went 13-7 during the week. (Wow. Win 13 games in a week and can’t move up. You can blame your division for that Boise.)
20th Hitting / 9th Pitching / 22nd Fielding
14. Minnesota L’étoile du Nord (59-50) (Previous Week – 16) Up 2 spots from last week. Team went 13-7 during the week. (Congratulations on getting your new logo. Enjoy.)
27th Hitting / 5th Pitching / 2nd Fielding
THE RUN OF THE MILL TEAMS
15. Arizona Wildcats (56-53) (Previous Week – 15) No movement from last week. Team went 8-12 during the week. (Offense is cold right now, so only a few wins last week. Hopefully the bats can get back on track because the pitching isn’t going to help any.)
4th Hitting / 24th Pitching / 9th Fielding
16. Jackson Rebels (55-54) (Previous Week – 12) Down 4 spots from last week. Team went 8-12 during the week. (Team is starting to fade. The Rebels will need to do something drastic if they want to get back into the playoff race.)
15th Hitting / 18th Pitching / 6th Fielding
THE BELOW AVERAGE TEAMS
17. Helena Montana Moose (52-57) (Previous Week – 18) Up 1 spot from last week. Team went 9-11 during the week. (The Moose can hit but the pitching staff needs to improve.)
7th Hitting / 23rd Pitching / 26th Fielding
THE LIFE SUPPORT TEAMS
18. Ottawa Fat Cats (54-55) (Previous Week – 17) Down 1 spot from last week. Team went 8-12 during the week. (The Fat Cats will continue to drop. Pulling the plug will be the next step.)
26th Hitting / 16th Pitching / 23rd Fielding
19. Detroit Legends (49-60) (Previous Week – 19) No movement from last week. Team went 9-11 during the week. (The team got a new owner and name but got the same mediocre results. Another funny thing is that Tomjames takes over the team the pitching and defense improves but the hitting drops 7 spots.)
22nd Hitting / 14th Pitching / 24th Fielding
THE JUST PULL THE PLUG TEAMS
20. Vancouver Giants (48-61) (Previous Week – 21) Up 1 spot from last week. Team went 8-12 during the week. (Believe it or not, I see the Giants improving and may even get 81 wins this season.)
17th Hitting / 21st Pitching / 20th Fielding
21. Mexico City Las Lluvias (46-63) (Previous Week – 22) Up 1 spot from last week. Team went 9-11 during the week. (With Monterrey dropping, it gave Mexico City a chance to move up one spot. Yes go ahead and talk smack to Monterrey now.)
13th Hitting / 28th Pitching / 18th Fielding
22. Jacksonville Gators (47-62) (Previous Week – 25) Up 3 spots from last week. Team went 13-7 during the week. (Heard you let Tim Tebow give your team a speech. Seems like it worked.)
25th Hitting / 17th Pitching / 32nd Fielding
23. Monterrey Thunderbirds (48-61) (Previous Week – 20) Down 3 spots from last week. Team went 8-12 during the week. (When the bats in Monterrey go cold, this team is awful. Just pull the plug on the season already.)
9th Hitting / 31st Pitching / 27th Fielding
THE ALMOST HOPELESS TEAMS
24. Dover Death Dealers (44-65) (Previous Week – 24) No movement from last week. Team went 6-14 during the week. (I hate to say this but Dover won’t see there logo until the final power rankings. I don’t see this team improving any this season.)
24th Hitting / 22nd Pitching / 17th Fielding
25. Charlotte Golden Knights (46-63) (Previous Week – 26) Up 1 spot from last week. Team went 8-12 during the week. (There’s no doubt the Knights can hit but it’s incredibly hard to win with a pitching staff like that.)
14th Hitting / 31st Pitching / 19th Fielding
26. Atlanta Jets (40-69) (Previous Week – 27) Up 1 spot from last week. Team went 8-12 during the week. (It wasn’t because of the great play that moved the Jets up one spot. They need to thank the teams that were in front of them for that.)
29th Hitting /19th Pitching / 11th Fielding
27. Salem Salamanders (40-69) (Previous Week – 23) Down 4 spots from last week. Team went 4-16 during the week. (Well the team didn’t have to worry about losing the close games this week. The team got shelled just about every game.)
23rd Hitting / 25th Pitching/ 25th Fielding
28. Las Vegas Whales (43-66) (Previous Week – 29) Up 1 spot from last week. Team went 11-9 during the week. (Told you the Whales would improve. Moving up 1 spot is a start but they should be up to the 23rd spot by the end of the season)
30th Hitting / 20th Pitching / 29th Fielding
THE HOPELESS TEAMS
29. Rochester »»»Rubber Duckies««« (38-71) (Previous Week – 31) Up 2 spots from last week. Team went 9-11 during the week. (Sorry I was going to say something smart about your team but I still can’t get past your name.)
28th Hitting / 29th Pitching / 28th Fielding
30. Philadelphia Stallones (39-70) (Previous Week – 32) Up 2 spots from last week. Team went 9-11 during the week. (No longer the worst team in the league. Free cheese steaks for the team.)
31st Hitting /26th Pitching /16th Fielding
31. Augusta Nationals (36-73) (Previous Week – 28) Down 3 spots from last week. Team went 4-16 during the week. (You have to score more then 3.72 runs per game if you want to win.)
32nd Hitting / 27th Pitching / 30th Fielding
32. Hartford
Whalers Knuckle Heads (30-79) (Previous Week – 30) Down 2 spots from last week. Team went 3-17 during the week. (Congrats on winning the Knuckle Head award this week. Knuckle Head award is given to the team with the worst record every week.)
16th Hitting / 32nd Pitching / 21st Fielding
